肯定句型结构：主语+动词过去式+sth；否定句型结构：主语+系动词的过去式(was/were）+not+sth或者是主语+didn’t+动词原形+sth. 一般疑问句句型结构是：be动词的过去式(was/were)+主语+sth 或者是Did +主语+动词原形+sth。

比如：I won the first in the last English race.等等。

一般过去时常用来表示过去某个时间或者某段时间里发生的动作或状态。也可以表示过去的习惯性、经常性的动作或者行为。当我们在英语句子中出现了过去的含义，我们就要使用过去时。当句子中所要表达的时间与说话时的“现在”形成对比，我们就要使用一般过去时来表达。一般过去时的结构主要分为：肯定结构、否定结构、一般疑问句结构。

二、一般过去时的否定结构：主语+系动词的过去式(was/were）+not+sth或者是主语+didn’t+动词原形+sth。 比如：She was not a singer, is a teacher. 她并不是一个歌手，而是一个老师。 I was not win the first in the race. 我没有在比赛中获得第一名。 He did not go to school in the morning. 在早上，他没有去学校。

三、一般过去时的一般疑问句结构是：be动词的过去式(was/were)+主语+sth 或者是Did +主语+动词原形+sth。 比如：Was he is a student two years ago? 两年前他是一个学生吗？ Did she win the first in the math race? 她在数学竞赛中获得第一名了吗？ Did he finish his homework yeterday? 他昨天完成了作业了吗？ 我们在使用一般过去时的时候，经常与表示过去时间的时间状语一起使用。我们经常见的表示过去时间的时间状语有：last day、last week、last moth等等。
