一、when（当…的时候）引导的状语从句，一般都表示主句和从句的动作是同时或者先发生的。 比如：I feel so happy when you come to visit me. 当你来看我的时候我很高兴。 You should knock the door when I close door in my bedroom. 当我把卧室门关上，你应该敲门的。

二、While（与…同时）引导的状语从句，从句往往是延续性动作。 比如：I was doing my homework while my mother reading the book. 当我在写作业的时候，我妈妈在看书。 They rushed in while we are meeting. 当我们开会的时候，他们闯进来了。

六、Until（直到…的时候）引导的状语从句，与till的用法相同，一般情况下until与till是可以互换的。只有在句首的时候，通常使用until。 比如：we didn’t eat the dinner until he came back. 直到他回来，我们才吃的晚餐。 Until he came back,I started to do my homework. 直到他回家我才开始做作业。
